Easter is a great time of year.
Easter means that spring is here and summer is close at
hand.
Easter means the days are getting longer so there’s more
daylight to play in (think 10 p.m., here).
Easter means a great meal and an excuse to make fancy
desserts (this year it’s Paris brest and Briton French butter cake).
Easter means that the Cadbury mini chocolate eggs are
FINALLY HERE!
But most importantly, Easter means forgiveness of our sins.
It means that my Lord and Savior rose from the dead so that I could have
eternal life in Him. It is a humble reminder of how much Jesus loves me. How
much he loves ALL OF US.
So remember that Easter is more than nice weather,
longer days, and amazing food and candy. It’s about the ultimate example of
love and forgiveness.
